What this site stores

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores two things in your own browser, and neither is sent to us:

• Accessibility preferences. Your text size, contrast, link underline and motion settings, so the site looks the same next time.
• Editor session. If you sign in to change photographs on the site, a flag that remembers you did.

Both are held in local storage and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings, or by pressing Reset everything in the accessibility toolbar.

If that changes
